Part-time position requirements include ability to review cases in a timely manner and willingness to attend arraignments as they occur.  Court is held on Monday evenings.  Qualified applicants have the potential of becoming a town-elected official with a 4 year term.  Applicants must be 18 years of age, a Rush resident, complete court training and have no felony charges on record.   Send letter of interest to Town Clerk Pamela Bucci, 5977 East Henrietta Road, Rush, New York 14543.  Deadline is Friday, November 17, 2017.

Assistant Dog Control Officer

Part-time position involves assistance in the control and protection of the dog population.  Position includes acknowledging dog complaints, investigation and taking appropriate action including impounding dogs, transporting, initiating court action, as well as preparing and maintaining records.   A valid driver’s license issued by the State of New York required.  Please submit your application to the Rush Town Clerk, 5977 East Henrietta Road, Rush, New York 14543 by October 18, 2017.

Zoning, Planning & Conservation Boards

Openings can occur on the Zoning, Planning and Conservation Boards at any given time.  Meetings are scheduled as follows: Zoning Board of Appeals – every 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM; Planning Board – every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM; and Conservation Board – every 1st Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM.   If you are interested in serving on any of the above Boards, please send a letter of interest to Pamela Bucci, Town Clerk.  Your submissions will be kept on file and distributed to the Town Board for consideration when appropriate.  All letters of interest are kept for consideration for at least three years.
